SalesCloser for the Desktop Users
A: Perhaps. SalesCloser for the Internet is not an upgrade of the Desktop version – it is a new product. The Internet product does not have the exact same functionality as the Desktop version. So, you first would need to determine if there is critical functionality you are currently using in the Desktop product that is not in the Internet product. In addition, not all the data you have in the Desktop data base will necessarily convert over into the Internet data base. On the other hand, SalesCloser for the Internet solves the connectivity and data sharing needs of multiple sales locations and multiple users. The Internet product is written in the latest technology, has better usability, and utilizes a robust, SQL data base.
A: Once you understand what is and what is not in the Internet product, you would need to determine how many users you would need to sign up for the Internet product. You will need to sign up for either
a monthly subscription. You would no longer pay annual ESP fees and we would net out any “unused” ESP fees already paid (see Question below). You would then need to determine if you want to convert over your existing SalesCloser desktop data (see Question below) into the Internet product.
A: We will roll your “unused”
ESP fees into to your monthly subscription, thus giving your credit
for what you have paid and not yet used.
A: Yes, we will provide conversion routines for our existing SalesCloser Desktop customers. Conversion charges will be either free or heavily discounted for customers that are current on ESP. Those customers not current on ESP will have to pay a fee to convert their data. However, each Customer needs to evaluate if in fact they want to convert their data. It may be cleaner and less problematic to start fresh with the Internet product for new developments/communities
